I was always fascinated with Fury spec when I leveled my warrior in World of Warcraft. So much so that I actually raided as this spec for nearly a year (once my guild let me!). This spec is great for consistent DPS.

This article is going to cover what you need to know for leveling the warrior class as Fury spec.

Fury

Fury spec deals with duel wielding. It’s probably the most popular spec while leveling because you can heal yourself and you can do a lot of damage to mobs as you are questing, making leveling faster.

Fury also relies heavily on certain types of gear to be good. Mainly what you need is plus hit rating gear. You need this because you have a really high chance to miss while you are duel wielding.

As you level, it’s important to pick up duel wield specialization and Frenzied Regeneration. This talent gives you health back anytime you are crit, which is pretty frequent while you are leveling. It makes it so you have to eat and bandage less to recover you health and you can consistently kill mobs faster.

As soon as you get to level 40 make sure you pick up Bloodthirst. This talent does really high damage and also heals you a little bit each time you use it. Use it often! It’s on a 4 second cooldown. Make sure you use it every time it’s up and you’ll rarely ever have to eat or bandage.

Stay in the Fury tree and at level 60 make sure you pick up Titan’s Grip. This talent alone has made warriors a force to be reckoned with. It allows you to duel wield two-handed weapons which will double your DPS.

Fight mainly in Berserker Stance, using Bloodthirst (every time it’s available), Whirlwind, and Heroic Strike when they’re all on cooldown.

Fury is a great spec to level with because it’s fast and fun. You’ll definitely enjoy the play-style that comes with this talent tree.
