By: Matt Garrett
World of Warcraft is a massively multiplayer online game, which means that thousands of players from all over the world compete for the world of Azeroth. World of Warcraft allows a large number of players to participate while making player versus player combat possible. World of Warcraft allows its players the flexibility of competing on an individual basis or forming teams and alliances. This suits both the lone player and the team player.
The World of Warcraft provides extreme terrain, such as the burning steppes and formidable heroes, such as Thrall, Cairne Bloodhoof and King Magni Bronzebeard. You can create your own character from a combination of races, classes and professions. The races in World of Warcraft include: Read the rest of this entry »
World of Warcraft Mining Guide – How to Start and the Mining Locations List
Mining is one of the collecting professions in World of Warcraft besides Herbalism and Skinning; it can be done in various resource nodes scattered throughout the world. You can mine minerals, ores, and stones; these raw materials will be processed further by those with Blacksmithing, Engineering, and Jewelcrafting professions. With constant high demand in raw material for various recipes, mining can be considered as one of the proper gold making techniques, thus make a World of Warcraft mining guide a valuable asset for miners.
Mining locations are the most important part, but there are few things you should do before you start mining:
First, find a trainer and get trained in mining. There are different trainers for Alliance, Horde, and Neutral. These trainers are divided in three levels:
- Regular Mining Trainers; he will teach you from Apprentice to Artisan level (level 300). Brock Stoneseeker at Thelsamar, Loch Modan is one of your choices in Alliance faction. For Horde, meet Brek Stonehoof in Lower Rise, Thunder Bluff. Read the rest of this entry »
Best World of Warcraft Shield From Level 45 Up to 60
By Alon Pyade
Not many items, and definitely not any other shield, can be use for so many levels as the Wall of the Dead shield.
You can get the Wall of the Dead shield from level 45, and it will be good as it gets (shield that is) for up to level 60 (and for some even more). The Wall of the Dead is an epic item (purple) with 2226 armor a 41 block rating, and you will gain 10 strength and a 15 stamina.
Also when you are struck in combat it will give you a 3% chance to be encase in bone, increasing your armor by 150 for 20 sec.
With all of that you can see how you can use it as a warrior tank, or even have an enchant of high intelligent on it and get it on your paladin. Read the rest of this entry »
World of Warcraft Mining Guide – How to Level Mining Skill From 1-450 the Fastest and Easiest Way
World of Warcraft Mining is my Profession of choice if you are a new WoW gamer. It allows you start getting gold in a fast and easy way. My last article explained what you need to get started. This one gives you an idea of what you need to do to get your WoW Mining Profession leveled up quickly. The following steps are, in my opinion, the fastest way to level up the Mining Profession:
1 to 65: Mine copper here; Dun Morogh for Alliance and Durotar for Horde. You’ll find copper all over the place. Buy the Journeyman mining skill to move on to the next level and to be able to mine Incendicite.
66 to 125: Mine Incendicite; Go to Wetlands, find Thelgan Rock right near the entrance to Dun Algaz, find the cave there, it’s got alot of spiders and a quest ore called Incendicite. This is an Alliance quest but Horde can still mine the ore. The ore is not worth anything but you will easily skill up towards 125. Buy the Expert mining skill to be able to level mining to 225. World of Warcraft Gold Guide – Thars Gold in Them Thar Hills
By John Dobbins
I suppose that anyone who has a character that has ever taken up the mining profession realizes that there is great potential to make World of Warcraft gold. What a lot of people seem to miss is that sometimes less is more.
While one would think that the secret to making a fortune with mining would be to raise their skill level as quickly as possible, that is not necessarily the best outlook. If you mine to support another profession like blacksmithing, engineering or jewel crafting then maybe that is your best option but if you are mining just to sell the metal ores or bars, copper ore is a huge money maker.
My miner is skilled at 450 but I like to take him to the lower level areas of Norrath and mine copper like it is going out of style. If you are several levels higher than the areas where copper nodes are located then you will rarely get aggro from the monsters around and if you do, they are one shot kills. I jump on the back of my epic rider and run around a zone with my mini map zoomed out as far as it will go (to see the mines on the map from a greater distance) and just mine copper and ride to the next one. By the time you cover two or three zones, you will have several stacks of copper ore. Repeat until your bags are full and then head to town. Do not turn these stacks of ore into bars because jewel crafters like to buy the ore and prospect the gems from them. Some of the low level gems, like jade for example, are kind of hard to find in quantity so if you have to buy them in the auction house they are expensive (around 5g each on Thunderhorn server). Copper sells better and for more than many other ores. Read the rest of this entry »
