World of Warcraft Mage Guide – FREE

By George Halt

There are many guides available for leveling a specific class within the World of Warcraft game. There are, however, few guides that provide resources on how to play a specific class to its fullest abilities. Getting a toon to the max level in a few days of played time is wonderful, but if the player does not learn the fine skills needed to work together well with other players in a raid, or levels by questing and expects to walk into a PVP arena and succeed, that player will be disappointed.

Many players turn to the official WoW forums for advice. This is a big mistake. Every pre-pubescent kid with internet access is on those forums posting their un-informed advice as if it were gospel truth. It is difficult to wade through the morass and discern what information is valid and what comes from some teen building up his own ego.

However, if you look hard enough, you can find some golden nuggets of truth out there. The problem is that it takes a long time to find good information, as it tends to be scattered across the internet. That is, unless you come across a site like Archmagus.

Archmagus is a free online guide to playing a World of Warcraft mage to the fullest. It contains advice on gear selection, spec selection, tips for PVPing, etc. It’s especially good for players that are new to the mage class, but even veteran mages can benefit. Read the rest of this entry »

Best World of Warcraft Shield From Level 45 Up to 60

By Alon Pyade

Not many items, and definitely not any other shield, can be use for so many levels as the Wall of the Dead shield.

You can get the Wall of the Dead shield from level 45, and it will be good as it gets (shield that is) for up to level 60 (and for some even more). The Wall of the Dead is an epic item (purple) with 2226 armor a 41 block rating, and you will gain 10 strength and a 15 stamina.

Also when you are struck in combat it will give you a 3% chance to be encase in bone, increasing your armor by 150 for 20 sec.

With all of that you can see how you can use it as a warrior tank, or even have an enchant of high intelligent on it and get it on your paladin.   Read the rest of this entry »

World of Warcraft Warriors – Why You Should Play a Warrior

By Mathias Drake

Warriors are one of my favorite classes to level. They provide the fun gaming style of nonstop death-dealing combined with a decent overall leveling speed that can come in narrowly behind rogues and hunters, if done correctly. As a warrior you can also often level up just by doing dungeon runs where you are the tank (or just as DPS if you don’t like tanking). Warriors can also do very well in arena if they are teamed with the right class (druid is a good choice).

There is one slight catch however. In order to do all this (and do it well) you must be geared to the teeth at all times, and, at the very least, you must update your weaponry every 5 or 6 levels, if not more often. So, have fun dropping your cash, or gold in this case, down the black hole known as the Auction House. At the lower levels it can be hard to get a good weapon from the auction house, but do not despair, you can still get a few good weapons from the low level dungeons and quests without too much trouble. Best Character Class in World of Warcraft

By Patrick G. Moore

You have eight classes to choose from when you are playing World of Warcraft but how are you going to decide which class that you want to create a character? Of course, each class has its own benefits and disadvantages and you will have to understand each and every one of it before you decide, if possible.

So, the classes available are rogues, warriors, warlocks, hunters, shamans, paladins, priests and mages. Rogues is possibly the best class for some players. The reason is because Rogues kill mob faster than any other classes. As such, you get to level faster.

Warriors would be the best tanks and if you want some adventure, pick this class. Warriors are great in PvP especially if you are a caster. However, they normally kill real slow especially when you are at low levels. So, to kill faster, you will need to level your character to higher levels.

Normally, first character would be a Hunter. Hunters have companion (i.e. pet) and so they hardly die unless if they are being ganked. If you hate dull character, do not pick Hunter as your character class. Personally, I do feel that Hunter is too dull compared to other character classes. Read the rest of this entry »
